Summary
The Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce held its Summer Concert Series at Eisenhower Park every Wednesday evening from June 17 through August 12, 2026. Because the event used a new layout that year, Ocean Avenue was closed to cars between Main Street and 10th Street each Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Vendor booths and areas for people to gather were set up in the closed section of street, and concert-goers were not allowed to sit in the roadway. Parking was not allowed inside the closure area during those hours, and cars left in posted spots could be ticketed or towed. Drivers were asked to plan ahead, use another route, and watch for more people walking in the area. The Chamber of Commerce agreed to keep staff at the barricades throughout the closure, assign four certified security officers to each concert, monitor the closed area, and enforce event rules including no alcohol and keeping sidewalks clear.
