National Night Out is one evening each year when neighbors and police get together to take a stand against crime in their neighborhoods. Seal Beach held its 2026 event on Tuesday, August 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eisenhower Park, 820 Ocean Avenue, near the pier. It was free and open to everyone. Visitors could see SWAT vehicles and police motorcycles, tour the mobile command post, look at Orange County Fire Authority equipment, visit a petting zoo, get their face painted, and eat free hot dogs, chips, and cotton candy.
